Pakistan Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences (PJPS) is a peer-reviewed multi-disciplinary pharmaceutical sciences journal. The PJPS has been published since 1988 by the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Karachi, as a biannual journal.The frequency was converted to quarterly in 2005, to bi-monthly from January 2013 and is now scheduled to be published monthly from January 2026.
PJPS covers Biological, Pharmaceutical, Drug Delivery, Pharmacy Management, Molecular Biology, Biopharmaceutics, Biochemical Pharmacology (Medical Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Biochemistry, Medicinal Biochemistry), Natural Chemistry, Novel Drug Delivery Systems, Pharmaceutical analysis, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Technology, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacology, Pharmacovigilance and Pharmacoeconomics, Polymer Sciences, Pharmacogenomics, Ethanopharmacy, Genomic Pharmacognosy (Metabonomic Pharmacognosy), Bioactive-compound Discovery, Nanotechnology, AI associated innovations in pharmacy (Artificial Neural Networks, Deep Learning, Drug Target Interaction, Generative AI, AI-powered drug delivery system).
